Survivor of Domestic Abuse To Regional Councillor

I wanted to speak to Nirmala Armstrong when I heard her story of abuse. Her ex-husband held a knife to her throat with her two young children in the house. I wanted to know if she was optimistic about love and what had driven her to keep going? She is a romantic and continue on her journey of love. She put herself through law school on welfare with two small kids in tow. Her goal was to be a politician that could change things for women. She became one of the most successful legal aid lawyers and finally entered into politics. She remarried and is now mother of four who enjoys her grand children. I was inspired by her unwavering grit and perseverance. Listen to her story.
